Queer Storytelling by Air Spangenberg

Platforming trans and non-binary stories

My work

My work focusses on giving a voice to the underrepresented, particularly within my own community, the trans and non-binary community. Although filmmaking serves as my primary medium, I firmly believe in the importance of exploring a diverse array of artistic expressions to authentically portray queer experiences. Embracing a transdisciplinary approach, I integrate poetry, projection mapping, photography, songwriting, woodwork, and performance art into my creative process. This method transcends all binaries, including the gender binary, as I strive to define and cultivate non-binary storytelling.
